Modern Languages Redesign
The original Modern Languages Building featured an outdated brick enclosure with little insulation, significant thermal bridging, and poor overall energy performance. These deficiencies left the building inefficient, uncomfortable, and unsuited to modern standards of sustainability.

Our redesign introduced a high-performance enclosure system with continuous insulation, air and vapor barriers, and durable cladding, achieving an average R-value of 33.5. A sun-path study guided the integration of passive shading devices that reduce solar heat gain while preserving daylight. Through Revit, AutoCAD, Lumion, and Rhino3D modeling, we delivered a revitalized façade that ensures thermal efficiency, weather resistance, and long-term durability—transforming the building into a modern, sustainable, and resilient space.
