Having grown up in Aspen Woods, I have witnessed the evolution of West Calgary from a quiet, low-density suburban neighbourhood into one of the city's most ambitious mixed-use communities. Long recognized for its family-oriented character, elevated quality of life, and panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains, Aspen Woods has consistently ranked among Calgary's most desirable residential neighbourhoods.

Today, that identity is evolving. Developments such as West District are introducing higher-density housing, active streets, public gathering spaces, and a diverse mix of commercial uses.
